Sunflower seeds are harvested from the flower head of the sunflower plant. The seeds are encased in a black and white striped shell, which is then removed to obtain a white seed with a tender texture. Sunflower seeds are highly nutritious and versatile with a distinct nutty flavour and mild taste that pairs well with both sweet and savoury dishes. The seeds can be consumed raw, roasted, or incorporated into other dishes. Our Organic Sunflower Seeds certified organic by the Soil Association under the code GB-ORG-05.
Processing
The sunflower seeds are harvested and hulled. We then sieve through our seeds before they are packed.
