Organic Raw Acai Berry Powder

Acai berry is a fruit, which grows naturally in the Amazon basin, South America. Crucial to local diets for centuries, Acai Berry Powder, of botanical variety Euterpe Precatoria has recently gained a global reputation as a Superfood, renowned for an exceptionally high ORAC score for antioxidant content.

This botanical variety boasts a different nutritional profile to what is usually found on the market (Eurterpe Oleracea). The physical texture of the product is different, however, with it being dryer and slightly gritty in nature. This is largely due to the significantly lower fat content of Precatoria than what is typically found in the standard acai berry varieties.

Processing

After being carefully hand-harvested by local farmers using traditional techniques, the Acai Berries are almost immediately pressed into a pulp and freeze-dried into a fine powder.

Suggested Use

We recommend adding 1-2 teaspoons (2.5-5g) of the powder to milk, juice or a smoothie, up to 5g per day. Alternatively, sprinkle on or add to food to create your perfect combination.
