Organic Shittake Mushroom Powder

Sevenhills Wholefoods Organic Shiitake Mushroom Powder, made in China, is a nutritional powerhouse, providing all seven amino acids and a rich source of polysaccharides (our variety is 3%), natural proteins, dietary fiber, and other bioactive substances believed to offer a range of health benefits. It is certified organic by the Soil Association under the code GB-ORG-05.

Shiitake mushrooms, also known as Lentinus Edodes, are native to East Asia and have been consumed medicinally for centuries. They are now revered for their culinary and reputed medicinal qualities, and their earthy, smoky flavor makes them a versatile ingredient for many dishes and drinks.

Processing 

The fruiting bodies of the shiitake mushrooms are harvested, dried, granulated, and then ground into a fine powder.

Allergens 

This product does not contain any substances causing allergies (Directive 2007/68/EC) as or intolerances as ingredients or by the possibility of cross-contamination. No colours, binders, fillers or preservatives added. Certified organic by the Soil Association and registered by the Vegan society. 

Suggested Use

Adds 4g to soups, broths, pasta, salads or tofu to increase body and a depth of flavour to savoury dishes, or simply add to tea and coffee.
