"What an interesting concept. We liked the fact that the aroma was only mildly of banana....had it been more so we would have felt it to be synthetic. The taste is really unexpected. The natural sweetness of the fruit is there, full on. The potential uses are clearly very interesting, from baking to savoury dishes. Mixing with milk offered a slight challenge as it does have milk powders in it for easy blending, which was the only downside we could come up with. Flavourwise we really enjoyed it. It is an interesting addition to the larde and ideal for travellers.

This is an intriguing and enjoyable product. that delivers a really pleasant, natural banana flavour. The finish is very enjoyable, both on its own and with milk. The flavour is true, clean and natural, and judges commented that they thought it could be a most useful and enjoyable product. Perhaps a less sticky mouthfeel and finish could elevate this further."

Organic Banana Powder 

Sevenhills Wholefoods Organic Banana Powder is produced entirely from the banana fruit, botanically recognised as a berry, and grown organically across at least 107 countries in South East Asia, South America and Southern Africa. Once the bananas have been harvested, these are peeled by hand, before being ground into a fine powder ready to be packaged.

Processing 

The bananas are first harvested by our South American suppliers and carefully peeled by hand. These are then mashed and dehydrated, before being sieved and milled into a fine powder. The powdered banana powder is then packaged into our pouches.

Allergens 

This product does not contain any substances causing allergies (Directive 2007/68/EC) as or intolerances as ingredients or by the possibility of cross-contamination. No colours, binders, fillers or preservatives added. Certified organic by the Soil Association and registered by the Vegan society. 

Suggested Use 

Banana Powder is mainly used as a natural flavouring in smoothies, cakes, juices and ice creams. Try replacing off the shelf, processed flavourings with this as a 100% natural alternative.
