Organic Spirulina Tablets (500mg)

Spirulina is a microscopic algae, flourishing naturally in various warm areas of the world. Grown by photosynthesis in freshwater, Sevenhills Wholefoods’ Spirulina contains more essential nutrients than almost any other food on the planet.

Centuries ago, it was believed to have been cultivated as a staple food by the Aztecs. Today, it is consumed worldwide as a dietary supplement and is used widely as part of detoxification programs due to its remarkable antioxidant content. Not only does Spirulina contain over 60% complete protein, but this Superfood also has incredibly high concentrations of many other essential vitamins and minerals, such as B-complex Vitamins, Vitamins A, Iodine, Iron, Manganese, Zinc and many important fatty acids to name but a few.

Processing:

Sevenhills Organic Spirulina is harvested in fresh after cultivation ponds. The algae are collected using mesh screens, wet and then spray dried. This product is ground and sieved to create our Organic Spirulina Powder.

This product does not contain any substances causing allergies (Directive 2007/68/EC) as or intolerances as ingredients or by the possibility of cross-contamination. No colours, binders, fillers or preservatives added. Certified organic by the Soil Association and registered by the Vegan society. 

Suggested Use:

Take up to 5g in water, smoothie or juice. Spirulina can also be added to baked goods and homemade ice-creams.  Build up a dose to reduce side effects.
