Organic Cacao Powder
Cacao, or Cocoa, is an evergreen tree, which grows naturally in tropical climates around the world. We source our beans from Ghana & Ivory Coast, only those of a premium variety. Cacao has for centuries been predominant to diets in its native areas, yet in recent times, has attracted attention for its nutritionally rich profile, and health benefits associated with its antioxidant content.
Processing
The Cacao beans are harvested by hand and cracked to create Cacao Nibs. The nibs are then ground into our Cacao Paste. The paste is pressed to form a cake which is then ground into a fine powder and sieved to create our Organic Cacao Powder.
Allergens
This product does not contain any substances causing allergies (Directive 2007/68/EC) as or intolerances as ingredients or by the possibility of cross-contamination. No colours, binders, fillers or preservatives added. Certified organic by the Soil Association and registered by the Vegan society.
Suggested Use
Organic Cacao Powder is versatile and a must-have kitchen essential. We recommend adding to baking or hot drinks.

Very Good Quality Cocao Powder
I have recently bought this product plus two others, all are superb. I'm relly glad to have found this company.
Love this cacao!
I really enjoy this cacao. I don't touch caffeine usually so was a bit worried about trying this (although I had heard that it's cocoa that has the high caffeine content and that cacao only has a very low caffeine content from the plant being harvested at a different time?), however, it doesn't affect me at all. I add half a teaspoon to my smoothies and sometimes drink it with hot almond milk. Happy customer, thank you! :)
Wonderful and allergy-friendly
As mum to a dairy-allergic child, Sevenhills cocao powder is a life saver. We use it in everything - baking, cooking and even making our own chocolate hazelnut spread. Since it's not too bitter, it is an excellent alternative to Dutch-processed cocoa which always carries a 'may contain milk' label. Thank you Sevenhills, I'm so grateful!
