Chlorella is a single-celled, freshwater algae, which is grown in various warm areas of the world. Sevenhills Wholefoods’ Broken Cell Wall Chlorella, of botanical variety Chlorella Vulgaris, is consumed worldwide as a dietary supplement, as about half its mass is protein, and is used widely as part of detoxification programs to reduce oxidative-stress cell damage.

Chlorella is considered to be an excellent natural multivitamin, possessing at least 20 beneficial nutrients, and key in many vegan and vegetarian diets as a source of amino acids and vitamins traditionally only found in meat-based proteins. Also, most notably present in Chlorella is an abundance of Vitamins A, B, Iron and Zinc. In addition to its antioxidant content, the nutrition in Chlorella is also key in helping our nervous system, skin, heart and immune systems function correctly. Chlorella has also been known to help regulate balanced energy expenditure, keeping fatigue at bay. Our Chlorella's cell walls are broken to ensure maximum digestibility of the product's nutrient content.

We compress our Organic Chlorella powder into tablet form, with no additives or bulking agents, for customer convenience, thus we recommend taking 6-10 tablets with water, once or twice daily. Our Tablets are available in 500 x 500mg (250g), 1000 x 500mg (500g) & 2000 x 500mg (1kg) pouch sizes.
